Coverage guidelines
EPISD-covered visits are limited to one primary health concern per visit. Additional concerns may require a separate visit and may not be covered.
Routine follow-ups and ongoing management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid conditions, are not covered under the EPISD program.
If your provider determines your condition requires a specialist, that referral and related follow-up care are not covered under the EPISD program and should continue through your health insurance.
A visit may begin as EPISD-covered; based on your provider's evaluation, additional testing, treatment, or follow-up may fall outside the program. Staff will let you know if that happens.
Out-of-pocket costs
EPISD employees receive 10% off all Premier cash-based services. Pricing is set by the clinic and may change; confirm current rates with staff.
